Mostly Jazz, but I also love JazzGrooveShredaFunk / fusion, aka Adam Nitti.
If I’m doing things that have words (coding, writing a paper, etc), then I like music w/o (English) words:
If I need a bit more energy for writing or am working on graphics stuff, J-Rock and J-Pop work nicely:
For just doing graphics work then pretty much anything works, even old country music. ![]()
Here’s one of my favorite Adam Nitti songs.
Very progressive use of syncopated unison between several of the instruments.
Adam is the Italian playing the 6-string blue bass guitar.
His modal style of playing really comes out during his solo.
That was so good! ![]()
This couple from Poland do their own arrangements of classical pieces and play so beautifully together. ![]()
Another master on my list that I keep tabs on. 109M Views, I guess he’s on the lists of a few others also
He does a great version of Bitter Sweet, but this one is Viva La Vida.
I love the sound of Metallica in morning, “Sad, but True”
These guys, The HU, are pretty good. I listed to a few others they’ve made and they have a very unique sound for sure.
Edit : Mind you, I don’t understand a word they are saying most of the time (all) but it sounds good
I like Mozart while coding
Pink Floyd.
3 favorites albums : Dark Side, Meddle & wish you were here.
Dark Side is really stunning helping me out during a debugging session
+1 for Wish you were Here
