Nextcloud login error

When I try to log into my Nextcloud account on a different machine but still on the same network I get this:

cgi-bin/ 2026-04-24 10:31 -

Any idea what might be wrong?

Don’t know if this helps but I also I get this:

Certbot failed to authenticate some domains (authenticator: apache). The Certificate Authority reported these problems:
Domain: nc.muddys.org
Type: unauthorized
Detail: 208.76.86.152: Invalid response from http://nc.muddys.org/.well-known/acme-challenge/YzN_4a-oTsE-PL6CaJGQhkhA66L4udVOL0e1WwTG75w: 404

Hint: The Certificate Authority failed to verify the temporary Apache configuration changes made by Certbot. Ensure that the listed domains point to this Apache server and that it is accessible from the internet.

Does the domain dns record point to public ip of your server?

I’m afraid I don’t know how to figure that out.

Have you got a domain and an ssl certificate?

Did you follow Jay’s video on installing Nextcloud? On which Linux distro did you install it? Ubuntu, Debian or something RHEL based?

I have a domain but I can’t get an ssl certificate for some reason. As you can tell by a previous post.

I followed it by the letter and installed it on Debian.

Are you accessing your nextcloud instance from local ip address or public? You can paste the address you used in browser.
