Is there any good, not Reddit, discussion areas for Linux Sys Admins and those who are working their way into that roll?
I am working towards becoming one. I am trying to find others that are that are Linux SysAdmins, or others like I am, working towards that as a goal.
Currently, I do not have and Linux people around me.
I would say you have found what you are looking for. There are tons of Linux sysadmins here. What exactly are you looking for? To just ask general questions or something more?
There are so many places.
Here and the associated forum for whichever distro you use. There’s also a lot of sysAdmins on Matrix.

I have never used Matrix before.
I think that I am looking for both. I know that I want to be in a place where I can learn from others who have more knowledge and experience. To be be around like minded people that Love Linux, like to encourage people (like me) and to offer challenges to help people like me, to be come a better sys admin.
If you are not familiar with Brian McGonagill, he is the lead behind Awesome Open Source. He has a presence on maxtrix & youtube. Super nice guy that produces a lot of easy to digest content.
