I want to install pop os along side my windows on my laptop. can anyone please send a link with instruction?

I would like some guidance on getting pop os installed for my laptop to boot alongside my windows.
i am also wondering if my video capture card to run my laptop as monitor for my ps4 would work on this os without any problems?
completely new to linux here.

I don’t know of any links, but it’s straight forward.

  • back up your important data and if you’re able to, make a disk image of your entire drive
  • boot into the popos installer and choose dual boot option

The latter should have an automatic downscaling of drives/partitions. If you don’t see the dual-boot option, something’s wrong and you probably shouldn’t proceed, otherwise, your drive will be completely formatted.
