Timeline

In March 12, 2023, I published the video regarding my issues with GNOME Magnifier both in Xorg and Wayland.

Later that morning (March 12, 2023), I created an issue in Pipewire’s issue tracker.

On March 14, 2023, I published another video but this time only on Wayland with Pipewire while showing pw-top (part of Pipewire).

Then, during the same day, I created an issue report for Mutter and I linked that report between Pipewire and GNOME’s Mutter issue tracker.

Question

What have I gone wrong? I have not received any response from the Mutter team and both of my reports in Pipewire and GNOME are at a standstill. Is there anything I can do to improve my report in both Pipewire nad Mutter? Is there any way I can show some performance metrics while using both GNOME Magnifier and OBS?

Xorg/X11 does allow me to use XSHM (X Shared Memory) as a fallback but Wayland only supports Pipewire for screen capturing. I’m not sure how long I’m suppose to wait patiently.
