Adding Ubuntu srv to AD Domain

Hello,

I’m trying to learn linux, primarily Ubuntu, following your videos.

I’m currently struggling to join Ubuntu Server to MS AD Domain.
I’ve followed and tried everything I found on the net so far with no success.
I’m actually shocked that so many tutorials and guides are so completely different and varry.

Would you mind producing some content on this subject?
Apart from using AD Accounts to login, I need to be able to limit access to specific groups, as well allow only particular groups to sudo

I’m not yet sure if I’ll produce videos on AD yet, but that’s not a bad idea. Once I get caught up I may consider doing that.

For now though, have you tried the built-in AD support in Ubuntu 20.10? It may be the way to go.
