I started being interested in Linux in 2020. My best friend which has now become like a close brother to me; showed me how to change from windows OS on a laptop to a linux distro using a usb stick. I never new something like that could be done or just the fact that I was so lobotomized/conditioned into using windows my whole life.

My first experience with distros was with linux mint and boy, for a first time linux user, it’s fantastic. We had chosen the light weight desktop environment, xfce. Very good.

We are big time gamers and using wine software to play windows games on linux OS. I manage to figure out, using the cinnamon version of linux mint had everything or most we needed.

But in any case, I learned so much and it sort of became my hobby to know more about coding, linux OS, programming language.
