Hi everyone,

I have a LXC Container in Proxmox VE 7.0-11. The CT Template of the container is: debian-10-standard\_10.7-1\_amd64.tar.gz, so I am using Debian 10. I have a problem with the SSH service, it does not automatically start after reboot. The service is enabled, and the strange thing is that it does not happen with other containers which were created with the same template, it only happens with new containers I create from now on. Inspecting the issue, it seems like is related to an error like: “Missing privilege separation directory: /run/sshd” , but I am not sure…
Nevertheless, when I issue the command “sudo service ssh start” after boot, it starts correctly. Any ideas of what it might be?

Thank you very much in advance!

Pau

I’m not sure (yet), but that sounds like a bug in the template to me. Might be worth a big report.

Yes, it seems it has something to do with the template… Using other template does not cause any issues, so I may as well get rid of this template and use another one!

Thank you very much!
