I also prefer having separate boxes and treating a windows PC like a console. But the only PC I currently own, besides my work laptop, is a Raspberry Pi (that I’m using to write this message on and do my daily web browsing and email reading and sometimes editing a spreadsheet).
I might do a container passthrough, but instead of OCI container, I’ll most likely use LXC, because I prefer having a full Linux environment. But I still tend towards having a dedicated PC for that. Sometimes…
