Debian desktop environments

I’d like some advice on how to easily compare Debian desktop environments. I’ve never used Debian before and am still new to Linux. Started just a few months ago

I’m going to load Debian onto my MacBook Air using UTM. I’m watching Jay LaCroix’s video on Debian 13. He mentions using a net installer to load multiple desktop environments at one time. Is that possible using UTM? Or should I just download multiple copies of Debian, each with a different desktop environment?

if you are asking whats the easiest way to compare desktop environments, the easiest way would be to use arch linux with the archinstall script. you can choose which desktop environments to install then use them from the login page. the best way would be to use a VM host like unraid, truenas or proxmox then use a VM for each of the DEs you want you try. you could always just run one at a time until you find the one that works best. for me its KDE, debian supports GNOME, KDE, LXDE, Xfce, Cinnamon and MATE
